Koh Kam is a small uninhabited island in the Andaman sea. It is located on the east-side of Koh Lanta in the region of Krabi, Thailand. The island mainly consists of jungle. There is a small beach where you can stop with your longtail boat and get onto the island. This place is perfect for a relaxed day-trip, picnic and sunbathing. There is litteraly nobody near-by. It can be ideally combined with an adventurous trip to the neighbour island Koh Talabeng.
Koh Kam is reachable by longtail taxi from Tung Yee Peng pier on the east-coast of Koh Lanta within 30 minutes. Make sure to bring something to eat and drink as well as a sunshade. Another option is to build one yourself – which is a lot more fun 🙂
